Danny/All: Great to hear from you. 'Ol Jimmy Bannister is still alive and well in New Albany, Ohio (Summer) and Kiawah Island, South Carolina (Winter). Following is current permanent mailing address: 7053 Dean Farm Road New Albany, OH 43054 I will certainly mark August 7, 2004 on my "must do" list. It seems like I always think about Holmes at this time of the year when the Bulldogs are on the football field. These were the best days! I eagerly look forward to seeing you and all the other classmates next August. Best Regards, Jim Bannister

Hi, Fellow Bulldogs! I have placed August 7, 2004 on my "must do" list and will be there to kiss all the girls. I moved from Ft. Mitchell, KY to Westerville, Ohio in 1974 and started my own business in 1978 there. I divorced my first wife (Linda) in 1980 and married my current partner (Marlisa) on New Year's Eve 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marlisa and I are living in New Albany, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus and have homes in Bonita Springs, Florida (near Naples) and Kiawah Island, South Carolina (near Charleston). We have the Florida condo listed for sale and hope to move to Kiawah Island permanently in the next several years. I am an avid golfer and will play anytime...anywhere. We sold much of the business in January 2002 but kept several clients along with two trade shows of which we own 50% and manage. One show is held every May in Orlando, FL and the other in Las Vegas, NV every November. As a sideline, I have organized golf trips to Scotland, Ireland, Spain and a number of Caribbean destinations for the past 15 years (see www.bannister.com and click on Bannister Invitational for my 2004 trip to Spain). I attended Western Kentucky in 1954-1955 and played football down there with Rod Bagby. I transferred to Georgetown (KY) College in 1955 and played football there in 1955 and 1956. I then served two years on active duty in the military and four years in the reserves (4th Communications Co., USMC). When I returned home to Covington I taught school for one-half year at 9th. District in Latonia. One of my students was Jessie Draud whose father had become Principal at Holmes. I am still very active in the Marine Corps League and am currently Senior Vice Commandant of the Belleau Wood Detachment in Columbus, Ohio. I am slated to be Commandant in 2004. Semper Fi! I lost touch with most of you shortly after high school...but that doesn't mean that I have forgotten any of you. Holmes H.S. was a very special place and I can still visualize nearly everything...including the condom that someone (I think it was Rod Bagby) blew-up like a balloon and tied to the top of the Christmas tree in the Senior Building lobby! Some of my best friends included Rod Bagby, Gene Terry, Tom Edmonds, Kirt Mullins and a Junior, Mike Conley. I liked lots of other guys and gals, too. My first true love was Jacque McPherson but she dumped me. I dated Joyce Simpson (who forgot all about me when I went away to Western) and a lovely Junior named Nancy something. I really liked Carol Moellendick, too, but she was always more mature than me and married a MUCH older man! Enough about me! What about you guys? Send me an email if you get a few minutes. Best Regards, Jim Bannister
