Our trip through history to Shenandoah National Park started at Thousand Trails in Lynchburg Va
from there we went to Thousand Trails in Williamsburg Va. visited Adele's Gdaughter Lauren & her two children.

While in Williamsburg the first place we went to was Jamestown
Jamestown was the first English Colony established in 1600. By 1606 only 30 some of the 105 settlers were still alive.

Then to Yorktown VA. where the British army surrendered to Washington and French forces basically ending the Revolutionary war.
Yorktown was also the site of an important Civil War battle.

Next to Williamsburg VA. and walked the streets where Thomas Jefferson
& Patrick Henry famous for "Give me Liberty or give me Death" walked

Harper's Ferry WV. * a major Civil War battlefield

The bridge on the left is part of the Appalachian Trail

9/19 - 9/20/2023 Camped at Louisville North Campground & went to Louisville Derby Playhouse to see The Buddy Holly Story

Railroad tracks were 15 feet behind our camper.

Visited The Falls of the Ohio State Park.

Made a new table for the camper

In October we visited Cesars Creek OH & Batesville IN
while staying at Thousand Trails campgrounds
